District announces All-County Musical cast

In the beginning, there was an audition.

Warren County School District has announced the cast for this year’s All-County Musical. The show will run at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 31, and Friday, April 1, and at 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday April 2 at Warren Area High School.

“The Warren County School District is proud to announce the cast of its 16th All-County Musical – Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” Producer Jen Dilks said. “The Narrator will be played by WAHS senior Elizabeth Koebley with fellow WAHS senior Logan Johnson playing the main role of Joseph.”

“Both Lizzie and Logan bring many years of stage experience to their roles,” Dilks said. “Both have participated in five other All-County and Jr. All-County musicals.”

“Jacob, Joseph’s father, will be played by stage newcomer Tyler Johnson,” she said. “Ethan Monroe will be playing two roles in this production – Pharoah and Potipher.”

“Madeline Roell, Sheffield Area Middle High School senior, will play Potipher’s Wife as well as perform in the ensemble,” Dilks said. “Joseph’s eleven brothers will be played by Colin Drayer (Reuben), Kaden Weber (Simeon), Blake Ristau (Levi), Derek Hahn (Judah), Lilly Branthoover (Dan), Brady O’Donnell (Naphtali), Macy Winicki (Gad), Graham Carr (Asher), Hailey Brush (Issachar), Sammy White (Zebulun), and Sorren Check (Benjamin).

“Members of the ensemble, playing wives, Egyptians, servants, and dancers are, Sydney Johnson, Chloe Wickert, Anna Courson, Ella Getner, Alyssa Wismar, Peyton Kellogg, Chevelle Yeskey, Brianna Brooks, Kalista Carpenter, Ashley Plank, Hailey Peterson, Alyssa Drozdiel, and Jadzia Johnson,” she said.

There will also be a children’s choir, made up of district students in grades kindergarten through eighth: kindergarten — Mitchell Arnold, Avery Carr, Violet Carlson, Eva Conn, Carly Bigelow, Korah Bosko, and Thatcher McClellan; first grade — Walker Check, Lacy Falconer, Alaina Leach, Joclyn Mattison, Anna Nickerson, and Grayson Zapel; second grade – Sidney Arnold, Kaylynn Bosko, Evelina Carlson, Beck Hollis, Reagan McClellan, Chloe Reasbeck, Clara Rozanski, and Jacob Sproveri; third grade – Macy Aldridge, Rayna Atwell, Lilyanna Berkhous, Gabrielle Bigelow, Bobbi Gafner, Zane Getner, Kaylee Gray, Liam Johnson, Delta Richardson, Blake Spess, Faith Stewart, Audrey Wurst, Tesla Zapel, Aiden Zawacki, and Ashlynn Zawacki; fourth grade — Kaylee Arnold, Kyler Bosko, Caroline Curren, Paightyn Gertsch, Britain Hollis, Rory McBriar, and Luci Salvatore; fifth grade — Ava Aldridge, Ryder Check, and Isaac Zapel; sixth grade — Donald Anderson, Rebecca Anderson, Abigail Cornman, Greyson Ling, Katie Lutton, and Isaac Neal; and eighth grade — Eden Baker, and Abigail Simpson.

Tickets are available at the Warren Area High School auditorium box office from 5 to 7 p.m. beginning Monday, March 21, and at the door for two hours before each performance. Ticket sales are cash-only and tickets are $12 for students and seniors and $15 for adults.
