It’s time to Sail the High Seas with Warren Players and Jeeves.

The community theater group has announced the cast for Jeeves at Sea.

The show will be performed at 7 p.m. Feb. 24, 25, and 26, and at 2 p.m. Feb. 27, at Struthers Library Theatre.

“Directed by Kevin Hunt and produced by Adri Hunt, Jeeves at Sea features Patrick Mulligan as Jeeves, Austin Reese as Bertie, Brionna Childs as Lady Stella, Julie Fofana as Miss Pilbeam, Michael Stenberg as Crumpworth, and Allan Branthoover as Count Otto,” according to Advertising Coordinator Colette Bonavita. “Also joining the cast are Mayan Cook and Jess Long as swings.”

The play was adapted by Margaret Raether from British author P.G. Wodehouse’s series of comic novels, Bonavita said. “Jeeves is a delightful romp aboard a luxury ship in 1920s Monte Carlo that features Bertie Wooster, accompanied by his peerless valet, Jeeves, living the high life aboard the Vanderley yacht.”

“The feather-brained Bertie finds himself caught in the schemes of the mischievous Lady Stella, accompanied by her companion, Miss Pilbeam,” she said. “Along the way, Bertie’s friend, Crumpet, has assaulted a prince, and, in a jiffy, Bertie is masquerading as a romance novelist, Crumpet is masquerading as his own long-lost twin, and a foreign count arrives on board, ready to challenge Bertie to a duel over the misunderstood affections of Miss Pilbeam.”

Tickets are $15 for adults, and $13 for students and seniors, and are available at the theater box office, by phone at (814) 723-7231, or online at strutherslibrarytheatre.com.
