Some people curl up with a good book.

Others give a shot at Being the Book.

The Warren Public Library recently received 25 entries in its second annual “Be the Book” challenge.

“The Warren Public Library was so pleased to receive so many great submissions for our latest Be the Book challenge, which involves acting out the cover of a book,” Children’s Librarian Susan Slater said. “This year we received 25 photos. Participant names were randomly drawn and each winner received a $50 Walmart gift card.”

The winners included Logan Woldt, who portrayed Bunny Cakes by Rosemary Wells, Avery Woldt’s Arrow to the Sun, by Gerald McDermott, Kaitlyn Zuzzio’s Catching Fire, by Suzanne Collins, Bella Smith’s Kirsten’s Surprise: A Christmas Story, by Janet Shaw, and the Smith family, who portrayed the Wizard of Oz by Frank L. Baum.
