Pleas entered in court

A series of pleas were entered before Judge Gregory Hammond during arraignment and change of plea proceedings Thursday morning at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following defendants pled guilty:

¯ John E. Armstrong, 32, Pittsfield, to DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia and accident damage to unattended vehicle or property. Charges including three counts of DUI and careless driving were not prosecuted.

¯ Rebecca R. Hoffman, 63, Warren, to DUI and careless driving. Charges of DUI and driving vehicle at safe speed were not prosecuted.

The following defendants pleaded not guilty:

¯ Caleb Brannon, 31, Warren. Brannon has been charged with three counts of DUI and follow too closely.

¯ Timothy A. Cressley, 31, Corry. Cressley has been charged with terroristic threats and harassment.

¯ Devin Powell, 30, Warren. Powell has been charged with four counts of DUI, rear lighting, driving while under suspension and restrictions on driver’s license.

¯ Joshawa M. Rogers, 37, Warren. Rogers has been charged with accident with damage to attended vehicle/property, duty to give information and render aid, accident scene clearance, reckless driving, obedience to traffic control devices, failure to stop at red signal, overtaking vehicle on the right, follow too closely, careless driving and operating vehicle without valid inspection.

¯ A bench warrant was issued for the arrest of Shondell M. Hernandez, Warren, for failure to appear. Hernandez faces a count of endangering the welfare of a child.
