“Mamma Mia! Here we go again!”
The Warren Players 2021-22 season will kick off Oct. 21 through 24 at Struthers Library Theater with “Mamma Mia!”
“Featuring music and lyrics by ABBA hitmakers Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus, Mamma Mia! tells the hilarious and heartwarming story of a young woman’s search for her birth father,” Warren Players Advertising Coordinator Colette Bonavita said. “This sunny and funny tale unfolds on a Greek island paradise. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter’s quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother’s past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago.”
“Warren Players is excited to be back for another season of community theater — kicking off their 2021-2022 season with Mamma Mia! on Oct. 21-24 at the Struthers Library Theatre,” Bonavita said. “This mega-hit Broadway show about a daughter’s dream … a mother’s secret … and a trip down the aisle you’ll never forget. Mamma Mia! is packed with the ABBA hits you know and love, including ‘Dancing Queen,’ ‘Super Trouper,’ ‘Take A Chance on Me’ and ‘The Winner Takes It All.’ This worldwide blockbuster will have you dancing in your seats and shouting ‘Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!’ more.”
