Tall Cop is returning to Youngsville to help people Stop.

Officer Jermaine Galloway of Tall Cap Says Stop will present “High in Plain Sight: a Substance Abuse Prevention Training” from 6 to 7:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30, at Youngsville Volunteer Fire Department, 29 Fireman Dr.

The free workshop will cover many topics related to substance abuse, including alcohol and drug clothing, alcoholic energy drinks, alcopops, alcohol and drug concealment methods and containers, drug paraphernalia, drug related music and groups, logos, stickers, new technology, youth party tendencies, party games, non-traditional alcoholic beverages, social networking sites, synthetic drugs, over-the-counter drugs, inhalants, concentrates, e-cigarettes, and popular party drugs.

“Join us for a presentation of what is in our community and how we can work together to stop it.”

The event is sponsored by the Forest Warren Mental Wellness Association and hosted by Youngsville Borough Police Department.
