There is a need for dedicated health care workers.

To help encourage people to enter that field and to help ease their way along the path, Linda Keverline established a scholarship fund in the memory of her husband, Paul, in 2005.

“The Paul O. and Linda M. Keverline Medical Scholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors from any Warren County high school who are entering a field of study in preparation for a career in a health care field,” according to Keverline.

This year’s awardees of the Keverline Scholarships were Rachael Waterman, Kennedy Ford, Hanna Ruland, and Chloe Senz.

“A committee of medical professionals meets with Mrs. Keverline to evaluate the applications for the scholarship and select the recipients, which are approved by the Foundation,” according to Community Foundation of Warren County Executive Director John Lasher. “Mrs. Keverline met with several of the recent recipients recently to congratulate them on their achievement and wish them success in their college and career plans.”
