No new COVID cases reported in county

There hasn’t been a new case of COVID-19 reported in Warren County this week.

According to data Tuesday from the Pennsylvania Department of Health, there were zero new cases Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

There were four new cases reported on Thursday and three on Friday.

The department is reporting a total of 2,630 cases in the county so far, with 2,107 confirmed and 613 probable.

There have been 103 COVID-related deaths in the county. That number has not changed in two weeks.

There were two COVID-positive patients at Warren General Hospital – neither in ICU nor on ventilators – according to the latest figures from the state.

The number of fully-vaccinated county residents continues to rise as the number of partial vaccinations falls. There are 12,362 residents who are fully covered and 3,774 who have received only the first dose. Less than 200 people received first vaccines in the last week while more than 550 received second doses.

About 41 percent of the county’s total population has received at least one dose.

Of about 34,100 people ages 12 and older — the range that is now eligible — in the county, the percentage is about 47 percent.
