Ludlow man, Kane woman charged in connection with Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection

Two McKean County residents – one from Ludlow and one from Kane – were arrested this morning in connection with alleged involvement at the Capitol insurrection on Jan. 6.

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, William Blauser, Jr., Ludlow, and Pauline Bauer, Kane, were charged in connection with the riots that sought to challenge the certification of the Electoral College results from the 2020 presidential election.

Both face charges including knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, knowingly engaging in disorderly or disruptive conduct in restricted buildings or grounds and two counts of violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.

Bauer also has been charged with obstruction of justice/Congress.
