Eight new cases, no new deaths
There were eight new cases of COVID-19 and no new deaths in Warren County in Friday’s report from the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
According to the department’s COVID-19 Dashboard, there have been 2,122 cases of COVID-19 in the county so far. That includes 1,736 confirmed cases and 386 probables.
Per 100,000 people, there have been just over 5,400 cases (5.4 percent) – just over 1 in 20 people in the county has had the virus.
The death toll in the county remained at 96, or almost 2.5 deaths per 1,000 population – 0.2 percent.
For the second straight day, there was only one COVID-positive patient at Warren General Hospital according to the latest release. That patient was not on a ventilator nor in intensive care.
