Contraband charges added to mom charged with providing 2-month-old suboxone

A Warren woman charged earlier this week with lacing her child’s breast milk with suboxone now faces a felony charge of contraband for sneaking the same substance into the county jail.

City of Warren police charged Bridget G. Putman, 29, 301 Par. Ave., Apt. A, for the second time in a week with a single count of felony contraband – controlled substance.

Police report in the affidavit of probable cause that they were dispatched to the Warren County Jail on Feb. 2 shortly after 1:30 p.m.

“It was reported that an employee,” the affidavit states, “believed that (Putman) was under the influence during a meeting.”

Police state that Putman was brought into the office “where she made a strange adjustment in her pelvic region.” Putman was then given a body scan “and found to have an object concealed within her person.”
