26 new cases, two more deaths added to COVID tally

There were 26 new cases of COVID-19 in Warren County, and two more COVID-related deaths announced on Wednesday.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health’s data shows a total of 1,249 cases, with 1,048 confirmed and 201 probables in the county so far.

More than 3 percent of the county population has had the virus, according to the department, with a rate of 3,162.2 cases per 100,000 population.

The update included two more deaths, bringing the total for the county to 21.

The numbers for Warren General Hospital were steady again, with 18 COVID patients and six of them using ventilators.
