The Pennsylvania DUI Association’s annual conference is a chance for law enforcement to further their education and training, and to do some networking.

Last week, Youngsville Borough Police Chief and Warren County DUI Coordinator Todd Mineweaser, Warren County First Assistant District Attorney Cody Brown, Chief County Detective Brian Zeybel, and Conewango Township Police Officer and Warren County Highway Safety Grant Coordinator Charlie Andersen attended the conference.

“We attended seven different workshops,” Mineweaser said.

“The DUI conference taught marijuana and legal medications and their effects on driving, de-escalation of police interactions and the public, the rise in police suicide, and dealing with mental illness in law enforcement to name a few,” Zeybel said.

“The Pa DUI Association is a big part of our DUI Enforcement and Training programs,” Mineweaser said.

The 41st annual conference was reduced and shortened due to COVID-19.
