Morrison Bridge work to be completed today
A $1.5 million rehabilitation project that has snarled traffic over the Morrison Bridge for months is set to be complete on Friday.
Work on the bridge – which carries Rt. 59 over the Allegheny Reservoir near Kinzua Beach – started back on May 19.
A temporary traffic signal was used to control traffic for much of that time and PennDOT says the signal was removed on Wednesday, when both lanes of the bridge were reopened.
A full story will be in Saturday’s Times Observer.
