Five area students have been selected to receive $1,000 scholarships from the Warren General Hospital Scholarship Committee.
The committee, including Mary Beyer, Warren General Hospital scholarship chairperson, Debbie Gray, Warren General Hospital volunteer director, and Stephanie Freitag and Debbie Olson, Warren General Hospital board members, interviewed eight applicants and chose five to each a $1,000 scholarship. Students receiving scholarships are:
Ashley Barker: Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Loyola University, Chicago; Sara Fromknecht: Occupational Therapy, Gannon University, Erie; Alison Ishman: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, minor in Forensic, Robert Morris University, Pittsburgh; Shannon Kellogg: Associate Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Great Lakes Institute of Technology, Erie; and Summer Rosendahl: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing), Penn State University, State College.
