Public nudity nets woman indecent exposure charge

A Warren woman faces indecent exposure and disorderly conduct charges stemming for allegedly stripping on Hemlock Street.

Cassie L. Tucker, 29, 1927 Pennsylvania Ave. E., Warren, was charged by City of Warren Police.

According to the affidavit of probable cause filed with District Judge Raymond Zydonik’s office, police were dispatched to the “area of 5 Hemlock Street for a report of a female wearing a maroon tank top and black shorts that was standing in the roadway, moving about and taking her clothes off” on Sept. 13 at 6:40 p.m.

Police spoke with the person who made the report who said that Tucker allegedly “comes down here almost every day and does the same thing and strips.”

That individual, police say in the affidavit, “was walking up the street in front of her residence without a shirt or (brassiere) on in front of persons” at her residence, including one under the age of 16.

Police then went to Tucker’s residence to speak with her.

“This address is known to officers due to numerous recent incident(s) involving the same type of actions,” police allege in the affidavit.

Police say Tucker “answered the door wearing a maroon tank top, black stretch pants and was advised the reason for the contact.

“She denied the allegations and only commented that a guy in a truck offered her $100 to go with him, she declined. When advised there were numerous persons witnessing her actions, she did not agree.”

Online court records indicate that a preliminary hearing has been set for Oct. 21 at 10 a.m.
