Blakeley promoted to VP of Northwest Bank

Jeffrey A. Blakeley has been promoted to vice president, real estate and procurement manager of Northwest Bank.

In his new role, Blakeley will oversee all aspects of procurement, mail services, coin and currency and paper record management. He will manage the bank-owned real estate portfolio, which includes working with internal partners and external third parties in analyzing sites, performing due diligence, negotiating and acquiring property through lease or purchase. Blakeley will continue to monitor the portfolio and identify opportunities for enhancement.

Blakeley began his career with Northwest Bank in 1986 as a purchasing officer. His professionalism and innovations in improving operating efficiencies and reducing costs through responsible procurement have been important contributions to the bank.

A graduate of Penn State University, Blakeley has become a certified purchasing manager and an accredited purchasing practitioner with the National Association of Purchasing Management and later the Institute for Supply Management. He is a member of the Institute for Supply Management’s Non-Manufacturing Report on Business survey committee and a graduate of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association’s Advanced School of Banking at Bucknell University.

Blakeley is also a Sunday school teacher at the Warren Alliance Church and a volunteer for the Warren County Prison Ministry. Blakeley and his wife, Randi, who works in loss mitigation for the bank, live in Warren and have two adult children, as well as one grandchild. Blakeley is the son of Harry and Mary Blakeley of Lower Burrell, Pa.
