Public comment sought for Tionesta Creek Vegetation Management Project

The Allegheny National Forest is accepting public review and comment on the East Branch of Tionesta Creek Vegetation Management Project located in Elk and McKean counties, Pennsylvania.

The East Branch Tionesta Creek project area is generally located west of Kane and encompasses 15,795 acres of National Forest System land. The project proposed management activities include vegetation treatments, timber harvesting, wildlife habitat improvements, non-native invasive plant species treatments, transportation activities and recreation improvements.

Comments must be submitted within 30 days of publication of the July 1, 2020, legal notice in The Kane Republican.
