Good Citizen Recognition is presented to local seniors

The General Joseph Warren Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution has recognized its Good Citizens for Warren and Forest County high schools.

The DAR Good Citizen Recognition is presented to a high school senior that has demonstrated the qualities of dependability, leadership, patriotism and service.

In honor of the Good Citizens recipients, the General Joseph Warren Chapter has made a monetary donation to the Warren Tree Fund in their honor.

The DAR Good Citizen Recognition was presented to the following students:

Caroline Smelko of Eisenhower High School, daughter of Michael and Barbara Smelko; Naomi Hahn of Warren Area High School, daughter of Kenneth and Lori Hahn; Marissa Grubbs of Sheffield Area Middle High School, daughter of Michael and Melinda Grubbs; Faith Johnson of Youngsville Middle High School, daughter of Dale and Kellie Johnson; Dalton Kennedy of Tidioute Community Charter School, son of Scott and Danna Kennedy; Daniel Schwab of West Forest High School, son of James and Tammy Schwab, and Taylor Andrews of East Forest High School, daughter of Paul and Annette Andrews.
