Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a Sunday morning ATV crash that took the life of a Russell man.

According to police, Travis C. Johnson, 26, was driving an ATV shortly after midnight on Cole Hill Road, about a half-mile west of Scandia Road in Elk Township.

Police said Johnson failed to negotiate a right turn in the road. He was ejected from the vehicle, which continued to roll several times. Johnson died as a result of his injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
