County’s 3rd COVID case not tested at Warren General

A third case of COVID-19 has been reported in Warren County.

The confirmed test result was part of Pennsylvania Department of Health data released on Thursday

That data shows Warren County now has three positive cases and 294 negative test results in total as well as zero fatalities.

Warren County issued a statement Thursday afternoon, confirming the third positive test result “in a Warren County resident.

“The individual was treated for the COVID-19 virus and is seeking medical treatment,” the county said. “The test was not conducted at Warren General Hospital. Currently, no further details about this case are available.”

Hospital personnel confirmed that the case was not identified there.

“It is my understanding that the third Warren County positive COVID-19 patient that was reported today did not come to Warren General Hospital for testing and is not staying at Warren General Hospital,” Director of Business Development and Marketing George Lilja said.

The county emphasized that its emergency response team “will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as additional information is obtained.”
