Conewango Township police reported that a fire Feb. 29 in the 100 block of Allegheny Drive was caused by a child playing with a lighter.

No injuries were reported, and no families were displaced.

Conewango Township police were assisted by Starbrick Volunteer Fire Department (VFD), Youngsville VFD, North Warren VFD, Glade VFD, and Pleasant VFD.

No charges were filed.
