A rollover accident Thursday afternoon caused three occupants of the vehicle to be transported to Warren General Hospital.

At 2:21 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, Luther Wenzel, of Youngsville, was traveling east on Follett Run Rd., Warren, when he failed to negotiate a left hand curve, losing control of his vehicle.

The vehicle then left the right hand side of the roadway, striking the embankment causing the vehicle to roll 180 degrees onto its roof. The vehicle came to a final rest on its roof in the Follett Run stream in front of 345 Follett Run Rd.

Wenzel, front seat passenger Shanik Branch and a one-year-old child were able to get out of the vehicle with assistance from a passing motorist who stopped at the scene.

All three occupants of the vehicle were treated by emergency personnel at the scene and then transported to Warren General Hospital by ambulance.

Rarey’s Towing Service towed the vehicle from the scene.

Wenzel was charged with driving at a safe speed, driving without a license and driving without insurance by Conewango Twp. Police.
