Preliminary hearings

Three guilty pleas were entered, charges were withdrawn against four and two were held for court during preliminary hearings held this week at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following defendants entered guilty pleas:

¯ Tina M. Marvin, Titusville, to possession of a controlled substance and marijuana – small amount personal use. A count of possession of drug paraphernalia was withdrawn.

¯ Syngyn Swartz, Marienville, to disorderly conduct – obscene language/gesture, give false information and driving while operating privilege suspended//revoked. A count of false report – falsely incriminate another was withdrawn.

¯ Jessica E. Valente, Titusville, to possession of a controlled substance. Charges including two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and seven counts of possession of drug paraphernalia were withdrawn.

Charges were withdrawn against the following:

¯ Dustin K. Holden, Sheffield. Holden had been charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct – engage in fighting. A count of harassment was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

¯ Mark E. Lundmark, Russell. Lundmark had been charged with simple assault and criminal mischief – damage property. A count of harassment was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

¯ Brittany M. Massa, Warren. Massa had been charged with marijuana – small amount personal use and possession of drug paraphernalia. A count of no headlights was re-categorized as a traffic offense.

¯ Craig B. McFadden, Warren. McFadden had been charged with simple assault. A count of harassment was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

The following defendants were held for court:

¯ William L. Dale, Russell. Dale has been charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

¯ Donald E. Wester, Warren. Wester has been charged with DUI: Controlled substance/impaired ability – first offense, DUI: Controlled substance/schedule I – first offense, DUI: Controlled substance/schedule II or III – first offense and disregard traffic lane.
