The Warren County Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), Warren County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Highway Patrol, in conjunction with the Warren County School District, will host a live feed of the funeral of Trooper Joseph Bullock.

The live feed will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at the Warren Area High School auditorium.

Bullock was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and 19-year veteran of the Florida Highway Patrol killed in the line of duty on the morning of Wednesday, Feb. 5, at the age of 42. He was a former Clarendon resident and the son of a former Warden and Chief Deputy of the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Jon Bullock.

He began his education in the Warren County School District at Allegheny Valley Elementary School, attending school in the county until his family moved to Florida.

Bullock was fatally shot by a stranded motorist whom he stopped to help on I-95 in Martin County, Fla.

He has been remembered as someone “who chose to make selflessly serving and protecting others his life’s work” and a “sheepdog protecting and serving the flock on a daily basis because of his love for others.”

Law enforcement, family and the public are welcome to attend the live feed of Bullock’s funeral. Those in attendance will be directed to parking by officers.

Anyone wishing to send cards or letters to the Bullock family is invited to do so by sending them to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, 407 Market St., Warren, PA 16365.

“We ask that you keep the Bullock family and troopers of the Florida Highway Patrol in your thoughts and prayers,” said Warren County Sheriff Ken Klakamp.
