Change of pleas proceedings

Two guilty pleas were entered while 12 not guilty pleas were entered during arraignment and change of plea proceedings before President Judge Maureen Skerda on Thursday.

The following defendants pled guilty:

¯ Shaiyla J. Kent, Cambridge Springs, to terroristic threats and simple assault. Charges of aggravated assault – attempts to cause serious bodily injury or caused injury with extreme indifference and harassment were not prosecuted.

¯ Harry S. Snyder, Warren, to charges at two dockets. At one, Snyder pled guilty as charged to intimidation of witnesses or victims while at another he pled guilty to disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Charges at the second docket of terroristic threats and disorderly conduct were not prosecuted.

The following defendants pled not guilty:

¯ Breaunna D. Baker, Pittsfield. Baker has been charged with theft by unlawful taking.

¯ Stephen D. Breon, Jr., Youngsville. Breon has been charged with DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving – first offense, DUI: High rate of alcohol – first offense, required financial responsibility, fail to keep right, driving at safe speed, careless driving, fail to notify police of accident/damage to vehicle and minor prohibited/operating with alcohol.

¯ Elise S. Dunn, Clarendon. Dunn has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI: Controlled substance/schedule I – first offense, DUI: Controlled substance/impaired ability – first offense and no rear lights.

¯ Alyssa L. Eck, Ludlow, Pa. Eck has been charged with DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving – first offense, DUI: Highest rate of alcohol – first offense and careless driving.

¯ Laurel C. Falconer, Warren. Falconer has been charged with DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving – first offense, DUI: High rate of alcohol – first offense, disregard traffic lane, careless driving and no rear lights.

¯ Amanda S. Goulding, Frewsburg, NY. Goulding has been charged with retail theft – take merchandise and conspiracy (retail theft – take merchandise).

¯ Paul M. Hornstrom, Grand Valley. Hornstrom has been charged with DUI: Controlled substance/impaired ability – first offense, three counts of DUI: Controlled substance/Schedule II or III – first offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

¯ David R. Phinney, Sheffield. Phinney has been charged with unlawful contact with a minor – obscene and other sexual materials and performances, disseminate explicit sex material minor and criminal use of a communications facility.

¯ John W. Soderberg, Warren, to charges at two dockets. At one, he has been charged with receiving stolen property and theft by unlawful taking while at another he faces charges of possession with intent to deliver, 14 counts of criminal use of a communications facility and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

¯ Everett C. Walters, Warren. Walters has been charged with DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving – first offense, DUI: Highest rate of alcohol – first offense, disregard traffic lane and careless driving.

¯ Owen M. Welch, Warren, to charges at two dockets. At one, Welch has been charged with DUI: Controlled substance/schedule I – first offense, DUI: Controlled substance/impaired ability – first offense, possession of marijuana, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, no rear lights and operate vehicle without valid inspection. At a second, Welch faces charges of DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving – first offense, DUI: High rate of alcohol – first offense, fail to carry license, exceed max speed limit established by 26 mph and careless driving.

¯ Brandon M. Wilson, Akron, Oh. Wilson has been charged with three counts of possession with intent to deliver, 12 counts of criminal use of a communications facility, three counts of possession of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
