Preliminary hearings
Six defendants entered guilty pleas while charges were withdrawn against two during preliminary hearings held on Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.
The following defendants entered guilty pleas:
¯ Ricky A. Bryan, Titusville, to possession of a controlled substance and turning movements and required signals. Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and violate hazard regulation were withdrawn.
¯ Blakelan K. Dale, Russell, to possession of drug paraphernalia. A count of possession of a controlled substance was not prosecuted.
¯ Luke D. McCracken, Tiona, to possession of a controlled substance and marijuana – small amount personal use. A count of possession of drug paraphernalia was withdrawn.
¯ Christopher J. Schleicher, Warren, to marijuana – small amount personal use and not discontinue signal. Two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia were withdrawn.
¯ Sarah J. Thomas, Warren, to possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
¯ Leary A. Walker, Jamestown, NY, to harassment. Charges of strangulation – applying pressure to throat or neck and simple assault were withdrawn.
Charges were withdrawn against the following:
¯ Sherri L. Oberg, Warren. Oberg had been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, fail to carry registration and driving without a license. Charges of driving an unregistered vehicle and fail to carry license were re-categorized as traffic offenses.
¯ James M. Rudolph, Sheffield. Rudolph had been charged with consumption of liquor while tending bar. A count of disorderly conduct was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.
