Police seek hit-and-run perp

Times Observer photo by Brian Ferry Officers, including Warren County Sheriff Deputy Tom Kibbey and K-9 Dina, search for a suspect Thursday night after a driver involved in a two-vehicle crash reportedly fled the scene on foot.

At 6:05 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, first responders were called to the intersection of Pa. Ave. W. and East St. for a report of a two-vehicle collision.

No injuries were reported as a result of the collision that was SUV versus a car reported as a red Mazda.

Police stated that the driver of the Mazda fled the scene on foot towards the car wash located in the Tops Plaza on Market St. with a backpack on his back.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit, Deputy Tom Kibbey and K-9 Dina, were called on a search for the suspect as well as multiple other law enforcement agencies.

No suspect had been located or arrested as of press time Thursday.
