A body was found Tuesday morning near the Bike-Hike Trail on PennDOT right-of-way adjacent to Warren State Hospital.

The identity of the person has been determined and next-of-kin contacted, but the identity was not immediately released.

Warren County Coroner Melissa Zydonik made a preliminary ruling that the death was accidental.

State Hospital personnel found the body.

In addition to the coroner’s office, Conewango Township Police, and the Warren County District Attorney’s Office responded to the scene, at the underpass near the Route 62 traffic signal at Commons Drive.
