Fire police to meet
The Warren County Fire Police will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, at the County Warehouse in Starbrick.
The U.S. Postal Service has made applying for your passport easier with the launch of the USPS Retail Customer Appointment Scheduler tool (RCAS) on http://www.usps.com/scheduler.
In addition, select Post Offices in the Western PA District — including from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 16, at Warren Post Office, 210 W. Third Ave. — are hosting Passport Fairs in November to assist customers in obtaining passports.
Passport Fairs are a great opportunity to get your passport without having to schedule an appointment. Simply go to any of the sites listed below on the date and time listed with all required documentation and apply for your passport. Appointments are required for any other dates other than the Passport Fair event.
For the appointment, travelers need to bring with them the following items:
The completed DS-11, Application for a U.S. Passport form, which can be found at the Department of State website at https://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/passports.html. Do not sign the form;
Proof of US citizenship;
Proof of identity (valid driver’s license, government employee ID, military ID);
Photocopies of U.S. citizenship and identification documents (these will be sent with the application, but bring originals for proof documentation);
Appropriate payment. Acceptable forms of payment can be found on the Department of State website. (Please note that neither debit nor credit cards are acceptable forms of payment by the Department of State);
Appropriate passport photo, if passport photo services are not available at the selected Post Office location;
Passport applications for children under 16 have special requirements. Visit travel.state.gov for more information.
After scheduling a passport appointment, make sure to click the Informed Delivery button. This new feature allows you to preview your mail and manage packages when you’re not home.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.

PA Route 6 Motorcycle Loop Map
For the last few years, the PA Route 6 Alliance has produced a Motorcycle Loop Map that has become very popular. With the heavy promotion of the scenic route throughout the eastern states and Canada, Visitor Centers and businesses are reporting a definite increase in motorcycle travel across the Northern Tier.
Information on ads and listings in the PA Route 6 Motorcycle Loop Tour Guide and Map are available online at: http://www.paroute6.com/members. Options run from expanded listings up to 1/2 page ads. If you are a member of your local Convention/Visitors Bureau, you will receive a 10% discount. Ads/listings range in price from $150/$165 (Discounted Rate/Full Rate) for an expanded listing to $390/$429 (Discounted Rate/Full Rate) for a 1/2 page ad.
This campaign is supported with targeted advertising including RoadRUNNER magazine, social media, and targeted distribution. Distribution includes PA Welcome Centers, Convention and Visitor Bureaus, Chambers of Commerce, businesses and partner organizations, motorcycle rallies, travel shows, and to travelers requesting information from our office.
Space is limited. Deadline for participation is Friday, November 22, 2019. If you have any questions, contact the PA Route 6 office (814) 435-7706 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
