Eisenhower bake-off

Photo submitted to the Times Observer Students at Eisenhower Middle/High School baked and breaked bread recently. The King Arthur Flour Company sent a representative from Vermont to educate all Warren County School District students in sixth and seventh grade. The Family Consumer Science department, formally Home Economics, applied for the grant and was excited to promote healthy baking skills to our students. Each student was generously gifted the baking materials to make two baked products; one item to share at home and one to bring back to the school to donate to their local community soup kitchen. Pictured from left to right are: Brigit Cook, King Arthur representative, Amy Driscoll and Olivia Wallace.
