Corry-based Pennsylvania State Police are recruiting the assistance of the public regarding a firearm theft from a sporting goods store in Columbus Twp.

Police were dispatched to C&H Sports, 45490 US 6, Corry, on September 14 at 7 a.m. on a report of a commercial burglary, according to a Monday morning statement from police.

Troopers say that an “unknown actor(s)” entered the business “by forcible means and unlawfully removed approximately 25 handguns from a display case.”

The suspect or suspects then fled from the scene “in an unknown direction and by unknown means.”

“This case remains under investigation,” troopers said.
