Photo submitted to Times Observer Sugar Grove community took time to honor and remember September 11th with a Freedom Walk through town, lead by Sugar Grove Volunteer Fire Department and AMVETS Post 50 color guard; with assistance from the Girl scouts. Gary Fry, Past National Commander spoke, honoring Emergency Personnel, those who served and are serving; explaining to the children in attendance that weren’t even born yet. God Bless our great country!

Class to meet

The Warren High School Class of 1947 will meet on Friday, September 20 at the Peppermill at 11:30 a.m. Reservations can be made by calling Betty at 723-2447.

Fire Services Dinner

Fire Services will meet Thurs. Sept. 12th at Youngsville Fire Hall. Dinner at 7 PM with meeting to follow.

Scrub sale at WGH

The Warren General Hospital Auxiliary Board and Robert’s Medical Uniforms is sponsoring a Uniform Sale in Conference Room B on Tuesday, September 17th from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm and Wednesday, September 18th from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. Now is the time to stock up on uniforms, accessories and comfortable sturdy work shoes. The uniforms are available in all sizes and patterns, with special orders welcome. The sale is open to the public as well as to all hospital personnel, employees of area medical, dental, and veterinary offices, and med tech personnel. Cash, check, credit card, and WGH payroll deduction are all accepted for payment. Proceeds help fund the Auxiliary’s many projects and programs that benefit Warren General Hospital patients and departments.
