Sunday night vehicle fire on Mudd Run Road in Lander, no injuries
At 5:41 p.m., Sunday, August 25, Lander Volunteer Fire Department got a call for a vehicle on fire in the area of Mudd Run Road and Cemetery Road in Lander.
The occupants of the vehicle, a young couple and their infant son, were allegedly in the area in order to fishing. Before entering the parking spot, it is believed that the vehicle may have obtained damage to the oil tank as there was an oil trail leading up to the final place of rest.
Once in the parking lot, the vehicle made it a few feet before catching fire. Everyone made it out safely and no injuries were sustained.
