Thursday change of plea hearings

Four guilty pleas, two no contest pleas and four not guilty pleas were entered during arraignment and change of plea proceedings on Thursday at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following defendants pleaded guilty:

¯ Casey S. Hanlin, Corry, Pa., to DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving – second offense, careless driving and restraint systems. Charges of DUI: Highest rate of alcohol – second offense and vehicular hazard signal lamps were not prosecuted.

¯ Noah J. Lucks, Clarendon, to DUI: Highest rate of alcohol – third offense, driving on roadways laned for traffic and careless driving. Charges of DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving – second offense, required financial responsibility, follow too closely and driving vehicle at safe speed were not prosecuted.

¯ Jeremy L. Paden, Pittsfield, to possession of a controlled substance. A count of possession of drug paraphernalia was not prosecuted. A count of possession with intent to deliver had previously been withdrawn.

¯ Curtis G. Snyder, Jamestown, NY, to defiant trespass and false identification to law enforcement officer. Charges of retail theft – take merchandise and receiving stolen property were not prosecuted. At a second docket, he pled guilty to retail theft – take merchandise. A count of conspiracy (retail theft – take merchandise) was not prosecuted. Charges of retail theft – take merchandise and conspiracy (retail theft – take merchandise) at a third docket were not prosecuted.

The following defendants pleaded no contest:

¯ Gregory S. Rockwell, Pittsfield, to DUI: High rate of alcohol – first offense, careless driving, driver required to be licensed and improper sunscreening. Charges of DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving – first offense, two counts of turning movements and required signals, driving an unregistered vehicle and operating a vehicle without valid inspection were not prosecuted.

¯ Nathaniel F. Weaver, Pittsfield, to disorderly conduct. Charges of disorderly conduct and harassment/stalking were not prosecuted.

The following defendants entered not guilty pleas:

¯ Vanessa A. Clark, Kane, to charges at two dockets. At one, Clark has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. At a second docket, Clark was charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana – small amount personal use.

¯ Tyler G. Kraft, Warren. Kraft has been charged with child pornography.

¯ Jeremy M. Matie, Warren. Matie has been charged with DUI: High rate of alcohol – first offense, DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving – first offense and operate/permit operation with unsafe equipment.

¯ Paul S. Rogers, Warren. Rogers has been charged with DUI: High rate of alcohol – first offense, DUI: General impairment/incapable of safe driving – first offense and disregard flashing red signal.
