The Warren County Council of Governments (COG) met for their annual meeting on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 in the City of Warren Municipal Building.

The COG announced that there will be an upcoming class on multi-year budgeting on Tuesday, July 30 from 10 a..m. to 1 p.m.

Michael Foreman, from the Governor’s Center for Local Government Services, will be conducting the class. It will be held in the training room on the second floor of the City of Warren Fire Hall, 310 W 3 St.

Those wishing to attend are asked to RSVP to Kassie Damcott, Operations Clerk, so that the City of Warren can bore passes to park for free. Free parking will be in the midtown lot and on second or third avenue between Market and Liberty.

The COG is also still in search for a person to fill an empty seat on the Building Code Board of Appeals.

That person can be from any municipality or agency other than those in the City of Warren. The person must also be an architect, engineer or contractor.
