Elk Township Historical Society will hold a monthly Open House on Saturday, July 13, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the former Scandia School building, at the four corners in Scandia.

The museum will be open, as well as the one-room school display. Visitors are welcome to search the many records on site including: Elk Township school records, cemeteries, family records including the Roper family, barns and more. The museum has many displays of early life in Elk Township.

Historical Society members will be on hand to show visitors around and answer questions. The Lending Library will be open and children can enjoy the playground. You’ll take a step back in time, when you visit our museum. All are welcome and there is no entrance fee.
