The Warren County DUI Task Force conducted roving patrols throughout Warren County on Friday, July 5, and Saturday, July 6.

Traffic stops for moving violations and equipment violations were made in Sheffield, Sugar Grove, Tidioute, Youngsville, Pittsfield, Conewango Township, Russell and Warren areas.

Task force members conducted 48 traffic stops and six standard field sobriety tests. Five of the six drivers given sobriety tests failed and were arrested for DUI, according to Task Force Coordinator Todd Mineweaser.

Officers charged three people with public drunkenness, three for open container violations, and issued 15 other traffic citations and 31 warnings.

Task force members included officers from Conewango Township Police Department, City of Warren Police Department, Youngsville Borough Police Department, and the Warren County District Attorney’s Office.
