Above, a photo was taken

from the deck of the suspension bridge that once connected downtown Warren to the south side. The suspension bridge was demolished in 1918 so the photo is at least 100 years old. The deck of the suspension bridge appears to have been lower than that of the Hickory Street Bridge, making the perspective slightly different. The large building on the left – where Breeze Point is now – was a furniture company. Below, the current view on a frosty morning.
