Times Observer photo by Brian Ferry Beth Nelson, who has a Russell Welch painting at home, looks over the Russell Welch exhibit at Warren County Historical Society. Welch was born in 1908 in Jamestown N.Y., and lived most of his life in the region. He moved to Warren in 1971 and died in 1994. The historical society has collected 21 original paintings, some from its own collection and others donated for the show. The show may be seen from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday until Feb. 15. The historical society will be closed on Monday, Jan. 21.
