Theft. State police at the Warren barracks report a Sheffield man paid an undisclosed amount of money to a fraudulent computer repair company on Nov. 23 via an online transaction to solve a reported virus.

Crash. State police at the Warren barracks report a driver and passenger were not injured in a one-vehicle crash on Dec. 14 on Conewango Ave. Harry Haskins, 77, of Russell was traveling north on Conewango Ave. just north of Holly St. at approximately 7:36 p.m. in a 2016 Honda CRV when the vehicle drifted off the right side of the roadway, struck a culvert and rolled over. Haskins and his passenger, Nancy E. Haskins, 71, of Russell were both wearing seat belts. Harry Haskins was charged with a summary traffic violation, police report.
