The latest Warren General Hospital Walk-In Clinic is open.
The North Warren clinic opened Tuesday at the entrance to Warren Commons.
There was an open house Monday, with dozens of people taking a tour of the new facility.
The North Warren location joins established walk-ins at the hospital and in Tidioute and Youngsville.
“We expect this to be our biggest and most popular walk-in clinic,” Executive Director of Operations Dan Grolemund said. “This reflects our commitment to the community.”

“The idea is to help get patients seen quicker,” Megan Miller, Warren Medical Group supervisor, said during a tour of the facility.
Walk-In Care in North Warren has six exam rooms to help keep wait times to a minimum.
“Our turnaround time in (the walk-in clinic at) Warren General is 25 minutes,” Grolemund said. “Our goal is a half-hour.”
The clinic will be staffed by nurse practitioners and physician’s assistants.
The facility is intended for the treatment of problems that do not require the services of an emergency room.

Records from the clinic will be shared with primary care doctors.
“After you’re seen, a report will go to your family doctor so they are very much aware of your care here,” Grolemund said.
Walk-In Care will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.
No appointments are needed.
On Monday, staff had given tours to about 30 visitors in the first hour-and-a-half of the open house event.
