The Young property on Second Mill Street in Sheffield, the property currently owned by Ingersoll Financial on Route 6 in Sheffield, the Ken Win LLC property on West Main St. in Sheffield, the John Bortz Jr. property on Mill Street in Youngsville, and the Twila Williams property on Economy Street in Tidioute are all up for the May 25 tax sale. several of them will be moving into conservatorship if not sold at that sale, including the properties owned by Ken Win LLC, John Bortz Jr., and Twila Williams. Hearings are in place on those properties in the event that they don’t sell, said County Redevelopment Authority member Pam Matve.

Three properties on the RDA list are in the process of being demolished, and two – the former Hobson McKown property in Youngsville now owed by Lance Ferrand, and the property belonging to Dan Albaugh on Chapman Dam Road – are being worked on by owners, the authority said.

Still up in the air are the status of the Romanosky property on Bates Street in Youngsville, the Hennessy property on Main Street in Clarendon, and the former Poston property on Center Street in Clarendon, which is now owned by Key Bank. The RDA will remain apprised of progress and follow up with those properties in future meetings.
