Warren man faces new charges in NY
A Warren man who has pending drug charges in Warren County picked up new charges in Chautauqua County, NY on Monday morning.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office said that deputies responded to a Kwik Fill located on Rt. 60 in Jamestown “for a report of a suspicious person in a vehicle who had been parked outside of the business.”
Deputies said they made contact with 26-year-old Rocky Fiscus.
“After an investigation, Fiscus was found to be in possession of a small quantity of methamphetamine and suboxone,” Deputies said. “Furthermore, Fiscus was found to be in possession of various forms of drug paraphernalia.”
He was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia and was “remanded to the Chautauqua County jail in lieu of bail and will appear in the Town of Kiantone Court on a later date to answer for the charges.”
Fiscus has pending charges in Warren County alleging that he sold heroin to a confidential informant in 2015.
He faces three counts each of possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility for controlled buys that occurred on Nov. 16, 18 and 24, 2015.
Those buys occurred in the McDonald’s parking lot, between the Blair Call Center and Kwik Fill parking lot on Pa. Ave. E. and inside McDonald’s in Warren.
He pled not guilty to those charges of October 2, 2016 and his case has been continued to the next trial term six times in the last two years.
