Police have issued a press release in the case of a Youngsville woman who was found dead Wednesday evening after being declared missing in Warren County shortly before.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, Jessica Salapek, 34, of Youngsville, was found dead at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday near Guitonville Road in a remote area of Green Township, Forest County, of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The investigation is ongoing, but “no suspicious circumstances exist,” police said in a release issued Thursday afternoon.
