Times Observer upgrades All-Access edition online
The Times Observer has upgraded its all-access e-edition of the newspaper, bringing the e-edition a new look and several added functions.
Upgrades took effect Monday.
The e-edition is available to all print subscribers by visiting mynewsonthego.com/timesobserver, or clicking on the “All-Access E-Edition” link at timesobserver.com. The upgrade still features the PDF edition of the day’s paper, but those PDF pages are easier to use for customers – including making it easier to change the size of the page when reading, making it easier to clip and save stories from each day’s e-edition and changing the navigation so it is easier to find specific pages in the paper. A new story view has a more modern looking design that makes it easier to find specific stories from that day’s edition.
“We have been very pleased with the performance of our All-Access e-edition since it launched last year,” said Bob Patchen, the Times Observer publisher. “The changes we have made this week to the e-edition are part of our commitment to make the e-edition as much a part of readers’ lives as Warren County’s print edition has been since 1882.”
In order for current subscribers to gain All Access to the digital products they can go to any local story at www.timesobserver.com and follow the prompts to “Are you a print subscriber?” then the information provided will be checked against current subscriber information. Once it is verified that the information entered matches a current print subscription, the subscription is validated and access to all digital products will be ready in addition to getting the newspaper delivered to their home.
The e-edition can then be accessed from a link named “All-Access e-edition” at www.timesobserver.com. Once at the e-edition homepage, the username (the email provided in the validation process) and password can be entered to upload the daily newspaper replica. In addition to the e-edition, print and online subscribers who validate their account have full access to timesobserver.com.
A digital-only subscription is also available and includes access to all of the digital products, but does not include delivery of the printed version to a home or business. Non-subscribers will also have limited access to www.timesobserver.com.
