3 arrested on charges linked to bath salts
The Warren County Drug Task Force arrested three men earlier this month after investigations into drug trafficking.
Warren County First Assistant District Attorney Caleb Gnage said Jacob D. Turner, 24, Warren, Gregory E. McDannel, 25, Pleasant Township, and Daniel L. Hinderman, 32, Brokenstraw Township, were arrested on charges including possession and possession with intent to deliver.
According to Gnage, a fourth man, Matthew L. Cabisca, 25, Warren, was wanted on similar charges, but had not been arrested as of 2 p.m. Tuesday.
According to a Tuesday press release from District Attorney Rob Greene, Turner is charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver; two counts of possession of a controlled substance; and two counts of criminal use of a communications facility.
Both McDannel and Hinderman are charged with one count of possession with intent to deliver; one count of possession of a controlled substance; and one count of criminal use of a communications facility.
Greene said Turner, McDannel, and Cabisca face charges related to bath salts.
Cabisca faces charges of possession with intent to deliver; and possession of a controlled substance.
According to court documents, Turner and Hinderman were scheduled for preliminary hearings on Tuesday. Hinderman’s hearing was waived and he is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 20. Turner’s hearing was continued and rescheduled for Wednesday, July 29.
McDannel is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 12.
Turner was taken to Warren County Jail after failing to post $50,000 bail; Hinderman was jailed after failing to post $30,000 bail; and McDannel was jailed in lieu of $25,000 bail.
