Youngsville Library’s Angel Tree Continues Through Dec. 22

The Youngsville Public Library’s “Library-Angel” fundraiser is occurring.

A corresponding “Library-Angel” is placed on the Library-Angel tree for each donation made and specifies if the donation was in honor of or in memory of an individual. Library Angel donors also have the option to determine what their donation(s) will be used towards. For example those interested can donate towards Kids/Youth programming costs, security system monitoring costs, wish-list books, toner for the copiers and printers, public computer hardware and peripherals, etc. There is also a category called “Library’s choice” that gives the library permission to target the donation towards “higher need” areas. Donation categories/options are located on the Library Angel form can be found on the Library Angel website link through YoungsvilleLibrary.org. Library Angel donors are also mentioned on the library’s website and listed in the Times Observer.

To become a Library Angel just stop by the Youngsville Library during business hours or visit our library’s homepage at YoungsvilleLibrary.org and click on the Library Angel Tree link. From our website you can print and complete a downloadable form which you can either mail to the library or place in our secure drop–box (which is open 24/7). All donations received via the library drop-box and by mail will receive a phone call confirmation to let you know that your donation was received. You can also mail your Library Angel donation (without a form) to: Youngsville Public Library c/o Library Angel Program, 100 Broad Street, Youngsville, PA 16371. Please be sure to include the name you would like to be placed on the Angel (and if it is in memoriam or in honor of someone). Regular business hours are Mondays & Wednesdays 10 am – 6 pm, Tuesdays 10 am – 3 pm, and Fridays 11 am – 4 pm.
