From story times to playing leap frog with stepping stones and even Family Game Day and Building-block party fun, Youngsville Library had a lot of events occurring during National Library Week from April 24-28. One promotion that will be continuing through May 6 is the “Get Carded At The Library” campaign. Through May 6, stop in at any of the five independent libraries within Warren County and receive a free chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card. Any county resident (ages 5 and above) who has the status of their current card checked, registers as a new card owner, or upgrades their card from the old green-bordered library card to the latest library card/key card will receive a free raffle ticket. Four winners will be drawn at each of the five libraries. By updating a single library card, which is valid at all five libraries, visitors will only help update the libraries’ shared data base system and have access to a range of e-resources. Youngsville library hours are Monday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesay from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
