YOUNGSVILLE CORN FESTIVAL IS AUG. 26-27

Youngsville’s Corn Festival is back starting Friday, Aug. 26 t 4 p.m. and also on Saturday, Aug. 27, starting at 11 a.m.

There will be a Rouse 5K, Cornhole tournament, Kids Zone, Fireworks, music, vendors, and food. Brought to the community by: Revitalization of Youngsville, Warren County Camber of Business and Industry, Rouse Estate, Youngsville Heart & Soul, and the YMCA.

Cornhole Tournament: The Corn Festival’s Cornhole Tournament is Saturday, August 27th, cost is $30 per team to enter. Top 3 places will be paid out. Registration is Day of Event from 10:30 am – 11:30 am, tournament starts at Noon. Meet at the PNC Bank Building in downtown Youngsville. All boards and bags will be provided. Free job Workshops: Wednesday, August 17th, Danielle Ditz will hold 3 separate career development workshops at

Youngsville Library”. The first workshop is from 11:30 – 12:30 pm: SkillUP PA, an in-person session, walk-ins welcome.

SkillUP PA provides access to over 6,000 free, online skills training courses to help you prepare for a new career path, enhance your existing skill-set, and more. Stop in to receive one-on-one assistance on how to sign-up for, navigate, and utilize this great resource to meet your personal needs.

From 12:30 – 1:30 pm Danielle will have an open, Walk-in Q & A session. Ask personalized questions regarding job searches, PA CareerLink, free job training opportunities, and more. No registration needed. From 1:30 – 2:30 pm “Mastering PA CareerLink website” workshop is available for in-person, virtual, or by-phone attendance. You will learn how to easily access and understand the most useful parts of the PA CareerLink website. This workshop does require registration.
